Three or four times a year Red Top Mountain State Park in Cartersville, Georgia has a furnace demonstration and iron pour. Scrap iron is melted in the furnace and poured into moulds. Some of these are moulds for Red Top Mountain Iron Skillets which are sold at the park lodge. Visitors, for a small fee, can buy a sand mould and carve their own design for the pour.  After the iron has been melted, poured and cooled  those who have carved a mould take home a nice souvenir.
